To celebrate 60 years in fashion with a bang, Lindex will for Autumn
2014 team up with one of the biggest and boldest names in the fashion
industry – Jean Paul Gaultier.
“It’s a wonderful and fun experience to create a collection that
interprets my codes for Lindex while taking part in the fight against
breast cancer. I believe we’ve found a great mix of these elements and
the collection is bold, chic and strong like the Lindex woman”, says
Jean Paul Gaultier.
Lindex is turning 60 in 2014 and is planning on a big celebration for
autumn to manifest the past, the present and the future of Lindex
brand. Lindex will invite friends; partners, employees and customers to
join the celebration, which the Jean Paul Gaultier design collaboration
is a part of.
“It’s a great honor for us to work together with such a design icon
in association with our 60th anniversary celebration. The Jean Paul
Gaultier brand has a strong sense of energy and self-confidence that
accords well with the Lindex brand and where we are heading”, says Nina
Starck, Head of Design at Lindex.
The Jean Paul Gaultier for Lindex collection consists of womenswear,
kidswear, accessories and lingerie. The collection launches in selected
stores and at lindex.com
on October 8th 2014, and will contribute to the fight against breast
cancer by donating 10% of the sales price to breast cancer research.
